Read before opening every bag
Look through the complete instruction sequence and identify the stages that depend on one another. Match the parts to the diagrams while leaving small pieces attached until required. Familiarity reduces the temptation to force something that simply belongs elsewhere.
Test the fit patiently
Check how two parts meet before committing to adhesive. Follow the product instructions for ventilation, handling, and curing. Work in short stages so a difficult joint does not become a reason to rush the remainder of the model.
Finish the original idea
A completed straightforward build teaches you more than an ambitious box of upgrades left unfinished. Keep a photograph of one detail you improved during assembly. Choose the next kit based on the technique you want to practise, rather than its part count.
